- Upload ‘excerpts-for-pages.php’ to the ‘/wp-content/plugins/’ directory
- Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
- Enjoy!

Had to try it, because it said it do what I was looking for. Even if it's old it still does the job.

Exemplo importante:
Eu tinha um problema com o SearchFord (muito bom em buscas imediatas, com miniaturas) e o Visual Composer --> SearchFord exibia os códigos "[vc****..." porque a página não tinha um RESUMO (excerpt).
Agora tem, e é exibido perfeitamente!!
